NAHS Basics

 

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) was founded in 1978 to inspire and recognize scholarship and art in the development of creativity, character, service and leadership. NAHS strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. Membership in NAHS is both an honor and a commitment.

The basics....we meet 2nd Wed every month (you can miss 3 meetings throughout the year)...you will participate in at least 4 events throughout the year...an event will usually take around 3-4 hours of your time...some typicall events (consisting of planning and implementation) of kids art camps, pumkin carving, holiday craft booths, recycling, empty bowl project...etc.
