Legend Summer Hours

Summers hours will begin June 1, 2010

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

Friday: Closed

June 28 through July 9th: Closed

Check-in for the 2010-2011 School Year

Legend will participate in Online Check-in for the 2010-2011 school year. All parents must complete online check-in between July 12th and August 1st.

Please note that the window has been reopened through Sunday.

Please make sure you have a Parent Portal account. You will not be able to use your student's account to access Online Check-in. If you do not have an account, click here.

August 3rd is Check-in Day at Legend. Students that have completed the online check-in process will pick up schedules, have school pictures taken, and pick up student IDs. Athletic tables will also be set up on that day. Anyone that has not participated in online check-in will be directed to a computer lab to fill out forms and pay fees. Please be aware that waiting until Check-in Day may result in long lines.

Order forms and payments (made out to Lifetouch)for school pictures will be collected by Lifetouch at the time pictures are taken. Please click on the link below to view package types and prices.

Students must dress appropriately and follow the Legend High School dress code in order to take student pictures. Students dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to take pictures. Please click on the following link below to view Legend's dress code:

Required Immunizations ir
Reminder: All students entering the 10th grade must have the State required Tdap vaccine. This vaccine is given only to children over the age of 10 years so is an additional vaccine to the 5 shot childhood series. Please provide us with proof that your student has had this immunization. As with all vaccines in the State of CO, you may choose to sign a personal or religious exemption or have your physician sign a medical exemption. Click here for more information.

If you have received a letter regarding AVID, you can access the AVID application and further information about AVID on our Moodle website (login is located on the right side of this page). If you do not remember your username and password or if you are having difficulties accessing Moodle, type guest in username and click on "Login as a guest." Click on AVID-Advancement Via Individual Determination.
Summer Reading for 2010

ALL Legend students (including those not enrolled in an Honors English class or an AP English class) will be required to complete a summer reading project. Click on the links below for the course you have signed up for.

School Supplies
Students will find out what supplies they need for individual classes during the first week of school. Suggestions to begin the year are: pens, pencils, paper, 3-ring binder. Check the Academic Planning Guide under the Academics tab on this page for individual course information. Math classes do require a calculator: the TI-84 N Spire is recommended; please check the Course Guide/Academic Planning Guide for individual math classes.

King Soopers Card

The initial charge on the King Sooper's card is $5.00 and will be collected when you pick up your card at Legend. You may add any amount to your card by going to the service desk at King Soopers. Legend will receive 5% of purchases made with the cards.
